Welcome Reception
Welcome to Cartagena! Check into the Dreams Karibana Cartagena Golf & Spa Resort and join us for an evening welcome reception to kick off the 20th Deltaversary.
APRIL 3
Private Catamaran & Beach Club Experience
Spend a full day on a private catamaran excursion, featuring an exclusive stop at a premier beach club on Tierra Bomba Island for sun and relaxation.
APRIL 4
Optional Walled City Tour & Anniversary Dinner
Participate in an optional tour of the historic Walled City for an extra fee during the day, then join your sisters for your Anniversary Dinner that evening.
APRIL 5
Departure Day
This day is dedicated to travel as you head home. We suggest you savor a final breakfast at the resort before leaving for the airport.

Preferred Club at Dreams Karibana includes upgraded rooms, access to exclusive lounges and pools, premium drinks and snacks, personalized check-in, and other VIP perks that make your Deltaversary stay feel extra special.

Complimentary transfers are only eligible for reservation days reserved with D9O Travel.

Payment Schedule:

$300 deposit due now,

50% of trip balance due by September 15th

The payment schedule has been designed to align with resort and vendor payment deadlines, and all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable once made.
Please note that the catamaran & beach club excursion and group dinner are currently reflected at 2026 pricing, which is subject to change in 2027. Should any adjustments occur, updated package pricing will be communicated in early January. We made the intentional decision not to pre-pay vendor deposits ten months in advance to lock in these rates, as vendors require 100% payment upfront — vendor payments will be secured closer to the trip in line with the overall payment schedule.
Travel Essentials & Tips
Visa & Entry
U.S. citizens visiting Colombia for tourism for up to 90 days do not currently need a visa, but you must have a valid passport (with at least 6 months’ validity), proof of onward/return travel, and may be asked to show proof of accommodation and sufficient funds.
Currency & Payments
While credit cards are widely accepted, it's advisable to carry some local Colombian Pesos (COP) for small purchases and street markets. ATMs are available in the city center.
What to Pack
Cartagena's coastal climate is warm and humid. Pack breathable linen clothing, a light jacket for evenings, and a reusable water bottle. Don't forget your sunscreen!
